Terms of Use

Brisk Booth is run by Adam Young in Painesville, Ohio. These are the terms for using the Brisk Booth website — the market map, the bakery and farm stand map, the email alerts, and the pages around them. By using the site, you agree to what’s below. Questions: adam@briskbooth.com.

What Brisk Booth is

Brisk Booth is a free, informational website. It maps vendor markets, craft fairs, pop-ups, cottage bakeries, and farm stands, and it emails subscribers about markets near them. There are no accounts on this site, nothing is sold here, and no payment is taken here.

The information on the maps

Market and bakery details are compiled from public sources — market websites, public listings, event posts, and submissions from organizers, vendors, and patrons — and refreshed weekly.

We work to keep it accurate, but details change fast and sometimes we’re wrong: dates move, seasons end early, application windows close, a market fills up. Always verify with the organizer before you rely on a listing — before you drive out, apply, or pay anyone a vendor fee. The listing’s own website or registration link is the source that counts.

Spot something wrong? The Map Corrections page is the fastest route — “Listed wrong, or want off the map?” is in the footer of every page, and emailing adam@briskbooth.com works too. Corrections are applied by the next weekly refresh.

Submitting a listing

By adding a listing, or sending us information about one, you agree that:

Submitting a listing doesn’t create any partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement between your market or business and Brisk Booth.

Email alerts

The market alerts and the weekly roundup are a free courtesy, sent when there’s something new that matches your ZIP and distance. We can’t promise an email every week, and an alert is a pointer, not a guarantee — a market we email about can still fill up, move, or cancel. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any email.

The Launch Waitlist

Joining the Launch Waitlist means one thing: we’ll email you when Brisk Booth’s vendor tools open. It is not a promise that the tools will launch by any particular date, with any particular features, or at any particular price — and joining creates no obligation on your side either. Nothing is owed in either direction; it’s a spot in line for one email.

Our name and content

The Brisk Booth name, the brisk BOOTH wordmark, and the text and design of this site belong to Brisk Booth. Please don’t use the name or the artwork in a way that suggests your product, market, or business is Brisk Booth or is endorsed by it. Market and bakery names on the maps belong to their own owners. You’re welcome to link to any page on this site — links are how people find markets.

Using the site fairly

No warranties, and limits on liability

The site and the emails are provided as is. We don’t warrant that listings are complete, current, or correct, that the site will always be up, or that an alert will arrive in time for any deadline.

To the fullest extent Ohio law allows, Brisk Booth and Adam Young aren’t liable for losses that come from relying on a listing — a trip to a market that moved, a missed application deadline, a fee paid to a third party, or anything of that kind. If a listing is wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it: that’s the remedy this site offers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that Ohio law doesn’t allow to be limited.
